In the first quarterfinal of the CSL playoff, the Trois-Rivières Attak defeated the defending champions, the Italia Shooters, 3-0 Saturday afternoon at the UQTR Stadium and therefore advances to the final four.

For their last game in front of their fans, Marc Dos Santos' men played one of their best games of the season as they dominated the Shooters from start to finish.

"I am very happy with our performance, we played an excellent game" said Marc Dos Santos. "The players worked hard and played with intensity, we deserve the win."

Nicolas Lesage (22 minutes), Elkana Mayard (54 minutes) and Darko Kolic (88 minutes) were the Attak goalscorers.

The Attak goalkeeper, Jon Paul Piques, made two spectacular saves at 60 and 90 minutes.

The semi-final match-ups will be decided tomorrow following the remaining quarterfinal games: Canadian Lions @ St. Catharines (4pm), North York @ Toronto Croatia (4pm) and Windsor @ Serbian White Eagles (7pm).
