Boubacar Coulibaly has an early «impact» Joqueviel and Di Buono now available to play
Since its first home win, last Sunday, the good news keep on going for the Attak. On one hand, Boubacar Coulibaly (picture) received an invitation to train with the Montreal Impact and, on the other hand, Cédric Joqueviel and Joe Di Buono are now available to play following their international release.
Nick De Santis and Peter Pinizzotto were impressed by Coulibaly, last Sunday against the Portuguese Supra. The midfielder has now the opportunity to train with the Impact. His call is a moral victory for the Attak. "I am very happy that Nick De Santis gives me this chance", said Coulibaly. "It is an honour to join the first team and I never thought that it would go so fast for me. But my objective is to play for the Impact. To realize it, I need to keep on working hard."
Marc Dos Santos was very excited that one of his players has been called by the Impact. "I am so happy and proud. One may ask how I can be happy to lose such a leader… Our mission is to develop players for the first team, and to get one of my players being called so early in the season satisfies me a lot. Moreover, he is a wonderful player with irreproachable work ethics."
Joqueviel and Di Buono got their international release
The Canadian Soccer Association has confirmed that Cédric Joqueviel and Joe Di Buono are now free to play following their international release. Both players will therefore be available for the game against the Italian Shooters, next Sunday in Toronto. "After some misfortunes, we finally have some good news", said Dos Santos. "Cédric and Joe add depth to the team, and we will be able to give a break to some players with minor injuries."
The Attak next home game will be on Sunday, June 17, at 4pm at UQTR Stadium. Marc Dos Santos' men will again play against the powerful Serbian White Eagles.
