Trois-Rivières in Toronto for the week-end
The Trois-Rivières Attak (0-0-1) will travel to Toronto to play two week-end games, first against the Serbian White Eagles (0-0-0), Friday at 8pm at Centennial stadium, then against the Canadian Lions (0-0-1), Sunday at 4pm at Birchmount stadium.
"Those are two good teams, but we have shown during our first game against one of the best teams in the league, even if we were reduced to ten men for over 60 minutes, that we are very competitive as well", said forward Jean-Louis Bessé.
The Attak and the White Eagles will meet for the first time, tomorrow night, but this won't be the case for the Toronto team and Bessé, since the Ivory Coast native has shaken the Serbian defence last year, while playing for the Laval Dynamites. He was on loan from the Sélect de Trois-Rivières.
Positive results this week-end would send a message to the league…
Baldeh suspended Friday
Following his ejection, last Sunday, midfielder Ibrahim Baldeh is automatically suspended for the game against the Serbian White Eagles. He will be back in the line-up Sunday and therefore be available for Marc Dos Santos.
The players not traveling to Toronto
Cédric Joqueviel, Joe Di Buono and Darko Kolic, unavailable, as well as Pierre-Rudolph Mayard, Tarek El Haiad and Andrew Olivieri, injured, won't be traveling with the team.
Argento will replace Olivieri
Injured goalkeeper Andrew Olivieri will be replaced by Gerry Argento (unattached) for the week-end.
Impact players that will be traveling to Toronto
Impact players Hicham Aaboubou (D), Paul Moran (D) and Massimo Di Ioia (F) will again play with the Attak this week-end.
The Attak roster for both week-end games
