An honorable draw
The Trois-Rivières Attak had to play in difficult conditions to get this 0-0 draw against Toronto Croatia, Sunday afternoon at UQTR stadium.
This 0-0 game is a very good result considering that the Attak lost Ibrahim Baldeh, a key player, ejected at the 27-minute of play following his red card. Therefore, the Attak had to play a man down for 63 minutes against a very good team. In addition, midfielder Boubacar Coulibaly received a yellow card at the 10th minute, so he had to be very careful for the remainder of the game. Both teams had to deal with the wind, and as a result many balls were sent off-lines.
The Attak completely controlled the tempo of the game, having more than 60% of ball possession and many goal opportunities, especially in the second half. Lesage, Kolic and Lassonde had the best chances. Toronto lost its composure in the second half: forward Silvano Rajkovic received a yellow card at the 55th minute.
The three stars of the game were: Darko Kolic (Attak), Hayden Fitzwilliams (Toronto Croatia) and Hicham Aaboubou (Attak).
The Attak line-up
