Two major partners for the development of soccer in Quebec
The Trois-Rivières Attak has announced a long term partnership with Carlsberg and Puma during a news conference, Wednesday at the Carlito, in the presence of Rob Boulet, from Carlsberg, and Roberto Rossi, director of marketing of Puma Canada.
Under the agreements, Carlsberg will distribute «the best beer in the world» during the games and events of the Trois-Rivières Attak while Puma becomes the official equipment supplier of the team, who will therefore benefit from Puma equipments during trainings and games.
"The extension of the partnership with the Impact allows us to be part of two prestigious companies," said the president of the Attak Tony Iannitto.
"Puma wishes to be a major supplier in Quebec, as it is already in the world. This support to young players shows that Puma wants to be involved at all levels of the progression of the athletes," said Ted Fletcher, president of Puma Canada.
Rob Boulet from Carlsberg continued in the same vein. "For us, the association with the Attak is natural because it allows us to contribute to the development of soccer. Moreover, it is also a logical partnership since we already had one with the Impact."
The Attak also unveiled its home and away uniforms for their first season in the CSL. The team will wear the white Puma Artillero line at home and the blue one away.
In addition to selling products, Carlsberg strives to promote fan loyalty through marketing programs. Thus, the first 1200 spectators to show up for the first home game, on May 13, will receive a special glass printed for the occasion. In addition, the Carlsberg caravan will be present on the field, a first in Quebec, in order to do the beer distribution. Finally, the tent for the Prestige members will be provided by Carlsberg.
