The Coupe du Québec champions challenge Trois-Rivières
The Trois-Rivières Attak will play its third pre-season game, the first at home, against Royal de Beauport, on Saturday April 21 at 12:30pm, at UQTR stadium.
"This game against the Coupe du Québec AAA champions will be a good test to evaluate the improvement and the team chemistry from a tactic point of view. In our planning regarding our first game against Toronto Croatia, this match will be one of the most important in terms of evaluating the group", declared Marc Dos Santos, head coach of the team.
Royal de Beauport may line-up University of Laval Rouge et Or players, following its civil-university partnership of 2006.
In the last game, the Attak lost for the time, 4-0, against the Montreal Impact. Nineteen players took part in this match, including Ibrahim Baldeh who played for the first time for Trois-Rivières.
Twenty players still remain at the training camp and battle for the 13 remaining spots available. This week, the Attak added four players to its roster when they signed François Boivin and Guy Fotso Sikali, from Trois-Rivières, as well as Pierre-Rudolph Mayard and Elkana Mayard. They both have a vast experience, having played for team Quebec and Canada.
This upcoming game against Royal de Beauport is important for both the players and the coaching staff.
