Attak 1 St-Catharines 0

St. Catharines, August 17, 2008 - The Trois-Rivières Attak FC (10-2-4) beat the St. Catharines Wolves (5-8-1) by a score of 1-0 at Club Roma in St. Catharine's. Nicolas Lesage's nifty goal at the 46th minute enabled the Attak to win for the first time this year against the Wolves. This was the last road regular season game. The team has kept a 6-2-3 record away from home field.

After the team's win, Head Coach Marc Dos Santos was evidently pleased with his players' efforts. "Our players came out very strong. We reacted to Friday's loss in the best possible way. We must now finish the job at home, in front of our fans. We have yet to clinch first spot in our division, and that's something we have to do as soon as possible."

For Captain Andrew Olivieri, the Attak came back after a rather disappointing performance on Friday. "We were aware of the adjustments we had to make, and we made them. We saw a difference at the very start of the game. We played the whole 90 minutes today."

The team's next game is Saturday August 23 at 4:00 PM, as the Brampton Lions (5-5-5) will be the guests at UQTR stadium.
