Attak Actively Involved in Community

Trois-Rivières, July 29, 2008 - The Trois-Rivières Attak will kick off a tour of soccer teams from the Mauricie region. The events are presented by Énergie and Sport St-Bo. These surprise visits will give an opportunity for Attak players to distribute free gifts and fresh drinks, and to sign autographs. The Attak team will also participate in the Ferragosto, a celebration organized by the City of Trois-Rivières, which will take place on August 3rd as part of the Soccer Tournament on the top of the Badeaux Building. The team will also be involved in various tournaments across the region.

The Attak's next game will be an exhibition one opposing them to the Montreal Impact on August 2nd at Chauveau Park in Québec City. Kickoff is set for 1 PM. The Impact had beaten the Attak 1-0 in Trois-Rivieres on May 23. The two teams will complete a 3-game season series at Saputo Stadium in Montreal on August 10.

The Attak (8-1-3)'s next regular season game will be played at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières on August 9 at 4 PM when the Toronto Croatia (6-2-4) will be town. The game will be presented by Saputo, and there will be games for kids. It's an even not to be missed!
