Alpha Bah scored Attak's first goal of the season
Trois-Rivieres crushes London 5-0

Trois-Rivieres, Friday, June 7, 2008 - Attak's offense finally exploded yesterday. The team recorded its first victory of the season with a 5-0 shutout against London City.

Striker Alpha Bah opened the score at the 28th minute of the game. His goal was also the first of the Attak this season.

"I'm very happy to have scored. It's a relief for the team to finally be able to get a first goal after two games," said the 21 years old athlete.

Jean-Louis Bessé (28th min.) Nicolas Lesage (38th min.) Elkana Mayard (42nd min.) and Hector «Nacho» Contreras (54th min) completed the score. Goalkeeper Andrew Olivieri was perfect in front of his net. He stayed in the game until the 80th minute before being replaced by Raphael Bélanger-Vaillancourt.

Satisfied with the result, coach John Limniatis, however, questioned the quality of the opponent's opposition.

"After the fifteenth minute, London's play was not its best. So we had the opportunity to take control of the game. Our players attacked at the right time and we controlled the game. It will certainly be more difficult tomorrow (today) against Windsor," he said.

The game against the Border Stars will begin at 7 pm in Chippewa Valley, Michigan. The Attak's win brings their record to one win, one defeat and one tie.
