The Attak scored a pair of goals in each half and defeated the Lac St. Louis Lakers 4-0 in a friendly game played Sunday night at Soccerplexe Catalogna in Lachine.

The CSL golden boot in 2007, Nicolas Lesage, opened the score after 12 minutes when he headed the ball behind the Lakers' goalkeeper following a corner kick taken by Hector Contreras (1-0).

Two minutes from the break, Lesage sent Jean-Louis Bessé into space alone against the goalkeeper and he easily made it 2-0.

Massimo Di Ioia (69, 3-0) and Ibrahim Baldeh (81, 4-0) completed the score in the second half.

The home team did not get many scoring opportunities, Andrew Olivieri being tested only once during a well taken free kick by Cesar Flores at 62 minutes.

Marc Dos Santos' men, however, took several shots on goal, two of which, taken by Lesage (26) and Matthew Palleschi (58), hit the crossbar.

Aditya Devalia, the Lakers' goalkeeper, made two good deflection saves, denying Lesage at the 24 and 39 minutes mark.

Besides Palleschi, three other Impact players took part in the game : Cédric Joqueviel, Cristian Nunez and Luis Aguilar.

Dos Santos was rather pleased with his players' performance, who showed more cohesion compared to the 2-2 draw against the UQTR Patriotes, on March 24 at Centre sportif Alphonse Desjardins in Trois-Rivières.

"It was positive, but we still have some work to do," he said. "Our transition is still slow and we are at times disorganised. In due time, we will adjust. It's all about timing."

The Attak will have training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, and will then face the Haut-Richelieu Celtix, Saturday at 8pm at Stade du Haut-Richelieu.
