The Trois-Rivières Attak added two players to its roster following an agreement with midfielders Alpha Bah and Davy Uwimana.
Bah, 21, returns with the Attak after having played the inaugural season in 2007. He scored four goals in 24 games.
"I am optimistic that we will have another great season," said the player of Guinean origin. "I would even say that this year's squad has the potential to do better than last year's as there are new talented players."
Uwimana was playing in first division when he left his native Burundi to move to Canada. The 22 year-old midfielder has since then played for Bourassa, Corfinium St-Léonard and FC Sélect Rive-Sud.
"I am very happy to join the Attak and I will work hard during training sessions in order to progress and help the team accomplish its objectives," he said. "My adaptation period should be short as I know many players on the team."
The head coach Marc Dos Santos will use the friendly games against the Lac St-Louis Lakers, on Sunday april 20 at Soccerplexe Catalogna (6:30 pm), and the Haut-Richelieu Celtix, on Saturday april 26 at Stade du Haut-Richelieu (8:00 pm), to complete his roster.
