The General Manager's position of the Trois-Rivières Attak, left vacant since the departure of Stéphane Chiarello in mid-February, has been filled by Trois-Rivières native Jean-Frédéric Bourassa.
"After a long period of time, we have found the person that we were looking for," declared the president of the Attak Tony Iannitto. "Jean-Frédéric fits well with our team's philosophy. He is young, dynamic and implicated in the Mauricie community, which is an important asset for a young organization like ours. I am convinced that he will continue the work started by Stéphane last year."
With a degree in social communications, he was very involved in student activities and now in the community, among others with the Jeune Chambre de commerce of Mauricie as the Director of l'Événement Relève Mauricie 2008. Before accepting the General Manager's position of the Attak, he was the Director of the Jeunes Entreprises de la Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec.
"As General Manager of the Attak, it will be a challenge I will look forward to which is to continue contributing and expanding soccer in Mauricie," said Jean-Frédéric Bourassa.
