Following the signatures of François Boivin and Nicolas Lesage in the last weeks, the Trois-Rivières Attak has come to an agreement with another player from Trois-Rivières: Guillaume Barrette.

The 19-year-old player, who can play in defense or in midfield, is very pleased to prolong his career with the team and is looking forward to another good season.

"We should be one of the top teams again this year as we will have one year of experience in the league," said Barrette. "In addition, several young talented players will join the team. I am very happy to continue playing with the Attak and I wish our enthusiastic fans will continue to support us in great numbers."

Barrette, who scored one goal in 18 games last year, is well aware that there will be a lot of competition for playing time.

"I will give my best to get as much playing time as possible, as well as to help the team," he concluded.
