Career
Nicolas started his senior career in LSEQ with the now defunct soccer club Francheville of Trois-Rivières. He was with the Patriots of the UQTR during five (5) seasons. He played one season in "Premier Development League" (PDL) for the Toledo Slayer. He was in the line-up of the Montreal Impact in 2005 before being sent to the then farm team, the Dynamites of Laval that played in the CSL. In 2006, he joined the Select of Trois-Rivières with whom he won the league championship of the season and the bronze medal to the Canadian championships.
Individual Highlights
He was member of the LSEQ all-star team three times, in 2001, 2003 and 2006. He was finalist twice for the "golden ball" award of the FSQ in 2003 and 2006. He won the "golden shoe" award of the LSEQ in 2003 and 2006. He also won the "golden shoe" at the Canadian championships in 2006.. During his university career, he was part of the all-star team of the Quebec conference during three years, in 2000, 2001 and 2003. He was also member of the Canadian Interuniversity Soccer (CIS / SIC) league's all-star team twice in 2001 and 2003. He was a member of the all-star team that took part in the Canadian university championships in 2001 and it won the "golden ball" in 2001, the same year his team won the "golden ball" in the Quebec conference.
